Sample Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival day. Sean will greet you and the rest of the group at Christchurch Airport and show you around the city. Enjoy many of the gardens and shopping centers. Drive to Arthur's Pass and have a group dinner.

Days 2-5: Excellent off-piste ski touring and riding along the Craigieburn Range. The group is greeted by Kea Parrots as we conduct an avalanche basics refresher**. We will work on route finding techniques and touring methods as we ski and ride deep powder snow. We explore popular movie filming locations in the late afternoon and the beautiful beech tree forests. We drive to Methven for lodging at the end of our last day.

Days 6-7: We ski and ride an expansive ridge of chutes, bowls, powder fields, and terrain parks via Mt. Hutt. Optional activity day. We drive to Fairlie for lodging at the end of our last day.

Days 8-10: On and off-piste skiing and riding as you enjoy breathtaking views of many great lakes, the Two-Thumb Range, and the magnificent Mt Cook, New Zealand's highest peak. We shred and slash our way through some of New Zealand's driest powder and pull the trigger as we shoot through plenty of steep chutes. We take one day off for rest as we tour Mt. Cook National Park and Lake Pukaki followed by a drive to Wanaka for lodging.

Days 11-13: We ski and ride many great ski fields as we rack up large amounts of vertical while being treated with views of Lake Wanaka and Mt. Aspiring. We transition slightly from powder and big mountain riding by simply adding freestyle components. We drive to Queenstown for lodging at the end of our last day.

Days 14-16: Queenstown - the adventure and adrenaline capital of the World. Ski and ride along one of only two mountain ranges in the World that run directly from North to South. Watch the scenery expand from jagged mountains to the glimmering Lake Wakatipu as you slash your way through a plentiful amount of natural New Zealand powder. Though our powder diet is coming to an end, we don't need to fret as we can keep our adrenaline pumping with plenty of afternoon activities that include everything from jett boating to bungee jumping.

Day 16: Departure day. This is our saddest day, but we know that you will be coming back next year! You are shuttled to the Queenstown airport or other location in Queenstown and we'll make sure that we see you off on time for your flight home.

*^Private and Groups - email info@seanbusby.com for quote.

*Pending weather conditions/backcountry avalanche conditions. We will evaluate snow conditions daily and will seek to commercial skiing/riding options when unable to access our off-piste locations.

**This is not an avalanche course.
